I usually use this post office to get Saturday newspaper, the younger and taller lady and other young lads at the right hand counter were very friendly. Today I went there to return my parcel and served by an older lady who was cold and rude. She kept telling me off for no reason. She said, I should have stood in the queue where people are waiting to post items. It is not true, I have been there many years and I have returned items before . The queues are usually separate. Or she could have just asked me to wait in the correct queue if the queue arrangement is changed that day. There is no need to talk to me like that. It was very embarrassing as a lot of other people were looking at me while she was telling me off. She then told me off for not sealing the package. The parcel was ready to be sealed and I was waiting for her to check everything was okay before I sealed it up because sometimes returned items need to be packed separately. The whole experience was unpleasant. I don't think I will be going back there.

Relieved and NOT surprised to see the poor reviews of this post office. I always avoid visiting which I should not have to- (as a local who has lived in the area for 27 years) due to the intimidating bullying like attitude of the two Asian women who run this place. I felt after my experience today, I needed to write a review. She asked me the exact weight of my parcel and when I apologised and said I am not sure, she replied “well maybe if you open and look, you will find out” ? She also rolled her eyes at me just charged me tracked and signed without asking. She then started talking in her language with the older women, who is equally, if not more, vile. She didn’t even say bye or thankyou. Disgusting customer service. Will never be returning.
